Item Description
We are selling a 1987 Pierce Arrow fire engine that is fully operational. The vehicle is powered by a Detroit Diesel that runs excellent with only 27,100 miles on it. It has a 1000 gallon tank and a 1250 GPM pump. It also passed all MA state vehicle safety and emissions testing this year.

The engine is equipped with a booster reel in the rear compartment. It comes with 200 feet of hose, give or take a few feet.

The engine is a 1987 Pierce Arrow Pumper with a 1,000 gallon tank and a 1,250 GPM pump. It has a built in Akron Foam System, powered with a Detroit Diesel motor (27,100 miles) and an Allison transmission. The engine is 32 feet long, 8 feet 6 inches wide and 9 feet 4 inches tall. The GVW is 37,180 lbs. The front of the engine has a front suction intake located just above the bumper. The pump panel is located on the top. It has room for 2 cross lays and each side of the engine has 2 discharges. The operator's side also has two intakes. The operator's side has six tool cabinets and the officer's side has three. Located on the rear of the engine is a booster reel. There is also an on board generator in the rear Officer's side compartment.
The engine has warning lights on the front and rear of the apparatus. Spotlights are also located on the front and rear; Night Fighter spotlights are located on each side of the pump panel. The cab is an open rear, which has two seats facing rear and three seats inside the enclosed cab facing forward. The engine does have a deck gun connection on the top. To the best of my knowledge, everything works properly with below average wear and tear.
The Engine is in excellent shape with below average wear and tear.

- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
