Chartiers Township is auctioning a 2008 Ford F-550 Dump Truck with the plow and spreader. Interested parties may place bids on the municipal auction site municibid.com. The Township will not open or accept offers in any other form. Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018: The truck will be available for inspection at 2 Buccaneer Drive, Houston, PA 15342 during regular business hours. Please call the Township office at 724-745-3415 to arrange an inspection. This piece of equipment will be sold “AS IS”. Power stroke V8 Diesel Engine, 9' Aluminum dump body, Super Dity BOSS Smart Shield Plow, Stainless Steel Spreader Box and new Goodyear G-622 RSD 225/70R19.5 Tires. Engine is in need of repair. More complete descriptions are available on the municibid.com listings. The Township has made every effort to describe vehicles and their conditions as accurately as possible and will not be held responsible for typographical errors or errors in description. Therefore the Township encourages inspection prior to bidding. Bids will be awarded at the October 9, 2018 meeting of the Chartiers Township Board of Supervisors at 4:00 p.m. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any bid when deemed in the best interest of the Township to do so.

It does run. It is making noise. We have had conflicting mechanic reports, so we urge inspection of the vehicle and engine so that you can make your own determination. There are no other known needed repairs. The truck was in service this summer.

Our Buyers Fees

- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
