Upon notification of award of bid, payment in full by the successful bidder must be received within ten business days or the Town reserves the right to void the sale. Only a certified check, cashier’s check or money order made payable to the Town of West Bridgewater, Town Administrator’s Office, 65 North Main Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379. The successful bidder shall make arrangements to take possession of the item within ten business days from the date of the Notice of Award or the Town reserves the right to void the sale. The Board of Selectmen anticipates awarding the bid on March 6, 2019. The Town of West Bridgewater reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defect in any bid. Buyer assumes responsibility for pickup. Bid to close on March 1, 2019. Inspection of vehicle available by appointment and contacting Tom Souza at 508-726-0598.
Item Description
The Town of West Bridgewater, located only 20 miles south of Boston, Massachusetts employs a full time professional fire department. The Town is offering the following for sale: a 1997 Ford F 800 Bucket Truck with 80,438 original miles. This truck has been routinely services and certified right up to being taken out of service. Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
