Q:
"What happened to this? Do you have the broken pieces? Is the drive shaft still around and just off?"
- Asked by #572282 06/30/2020 09:22 AM
A:
Basically it was being driven down the road and the transmission tore out, bent the driveshaft and severed part of the front flange that the transmission mounts to. The unit was a good running machine and I believe the transmission drive hydraulics is separate from the machine hydraulics. We do have all the broken parts. I will post a photo of the driveshaft. One vendor said they can make a single speed chain drive transfer case that will move the machine around the work site, but not on the road, you would have to trailer it to the job site. Q:
"So where to go to fix all those damages? And aproximatly how much to put this thing back to work?? Thank you"
- Asked by #20828419 07/05/2020 07:54 PM
A:
Terex was purchased by Yanmar so any Yanmar dealer can order the parts. We had an estimate between $20,000 and $30,000 to fix it, but the time frame for getting the parts was too long and didn't fit in with our road projects maintenance schedule. There are only 2807 hours on the machine so it is worth it for someone to fix it especially given the size and mobility of the machine. (edited on 07/08/2020 10:21 AM)

Q:
"You state that it’s a no reserve auction, yet the board has to approve it the night after the auction closes. Please elaborate on this. "
- Asked by #592020 07/06/2020 03:30 PM
A:
We are a government entity we reserve the right to accept or reject any bid, all transactions have to be approved by the Town Board by a resolution at a Town Board meeting that is the procedure that we must follow.

Q:
"can transporter get any assistance with loading additional attachments and will a landall be able to get to it??"
- Asked by #12009459 07/20/2020 02:26 PM
A:

Q:
"DOES MACHINE STILL START AND WILL ARMS ,DOZER BLADE AND OUTRIGGERS BE ABLE TO BE RAISED FOR LOADING??"
- Asked by #12009459 07/20/2020 02:28 PM
A:
Machine should start, but hydraulic lines needed to be capped off and probably needs some hydraulic fluid. I believe the drive hydraulic are separate from the machine hydraulic, but they probably share a common hydraulic reservoir. See newer photos posted.

Q:

- Asked by #12009459 07/20/2020 02:28 PM

See posted photos taken from front window, there is a new seat and the interior is clean and original.
