Q: |
"Can you tell me if there any issues with this vehicle How was the engine and transmission" - Asked by #13260593 07/12/2020 03:30 PM |
A: |
The vehicle does have confirmed transmission issues. In October of 2019 the vehicle was inspected and diagnosed by Washington Ford vehicle technicians with “an internal transmission problem”. I do not have further information or detail on this matter. The Police Department was provided a quote for a new transmission. After receiving the quote, the Department decided to invest in a new vehicle for the fleet. I can confirm the vehicle runs and is drivable (over 500 miles have been logged since the transmission issue was diagnosed). The shifting issues are very noticeable when accelerating uphill. There has been no indication of engine trouble. The only known issue involves the transmission. The vehicle is available for visual inspection during the posted business hours.

"hi sorry for this stupid q but does the back doors open from inside or not like other police cars
and whats the problem with transmission or did they say how much it will cost to repair
and is there any other issue besides the transmission ???
thanks" - Asked by #29105316 07/12/2020 04:33 PM |
A: |
No issues other than the transmission. Currently, the vehicle doors in the rear only open from the outside. However, this can be retro-fitted very easily - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDUeIwbPfn0
