"What does OSS issue mean? Why is it not currently inspected? " - Asked by #29654154 01/21/2021 05:18 PM |
A: |
The OSS means Out of Service. When something needs to be fixed, DOT will put a sticker on it to prevent use until the bus is presented for re-inspection. Because we were going to sell the vehicle anyways they pulled the sticker and put an OSS sticker on it. Two reasons they did that was: the privacy panel opposite the driver does not go to the floor. Student could stick their shoe under it and get caught. The second is the mop panel, on the floor under the seats, passenger side, needs to be replaced. Small hole by wheel well. An easy fix.
