Item Description
This airport snow blower was originally rated at 3,000 tons-per-hour (TPH). It features a Caterpillar 3208 V-8 S/N: 02Z53787 diesel drive engine and a Caterpillar inline-6 Model 3406B S/N: 6TB04984 auxiliary engine. The blower head is 96" wide and is hydraulically driven. The tires are very good and the unit was recently tested successfully. Manuals included.
This snow blower was originally built in 1982 and refurbished for PennDOT in 1987. It has performed well over the years. The mileage is very low due to it only being used at the airport. The hour meters were replaced in 2015. At that time, the hour meters read: Drive engine-1787 and the auxiliary engine-1534.
The high volume air blast unit in the rear is no longer operational.
The unit is sold as-is and where-is with no warranty implied or expressed, or assumed. bidders are welcome to call for an appointment to view the unit in-person prior to the closing date and time.
This blower head is actually 106" wide attachment and NOT 96" wide. It is the widest part of the machine when installed.

I have no idea what top speed is on the vehicle due to its' designed use. I'm suspecting it could be 35-40 MPH

The machine will start with its' current batteries.
Measurements: total long: 31'4" +/-; OR chassis only: 23'9" +/- x 8' +/-;
blower head only: 7'10" long x 9' wide.

The blower is a 106" wide blower head and is the widest part of the entire machine. The blower head can be removed as it is a removeable attachment. The machine was designed as a multipurpose unit capable of carrying different attachments.

The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
