Item Description
Used Exterior Waste Bins by Dumor Inc.
The last recorded order by Umass of new dumor bins indicates a per unit price of over $2,000. Mass state sales tax of 6% applies does not apply to certified non-profits and state or municiapl agencies.
Bin Material: Lightly worn, high end, heavy steel frame, exterior waste bins by Dumor Inc. of Pennsylvania (see product cut sheets attached with photos).
Bins are black, zinc rich epoxy finished with polyester powder coating, with 32 gallon plastic liner (HDPE).
Bin Condition: Units are lightly used - in good condition. Some units are better than others you will have the ability to pick and choose from existing stock.
Bin Quantity for Sale: (10) 5 labeled Trash and 5 labeled Recycling. UMass may make additional units available at a later date.
Loading Bin: Unit is top feeding with several lid styles (see photos). Unit lids will be sold as follows: Trash - no lid; Recycling with 15” cutout lid.
The 15” cutout lid or the elevated dish lid may also be supplied for Trash units at buyer request. Bin lids are interchangeable and are fastened to bin with 4 hidden bolts.
Servicing Bin: Units are emptied via side door which opens with latch release. Bin contains a 32 gallon HDPE insert.
Waste Stream Name Display: This consists of a 4” solid back panel color (red, white or blue, etc.) and front panel lettering that says Recycle, Trash, Mixed Paper or Bottles and Cans.
Installation of Bin: Unit is bolted with 3 bolts to cement pad, however the unit is heavy and should be stable on a level surface.
Pickup of bin order may be scheduled no sooner than 30 days following notice of bid award.
Ordering Additional Parts from Dumor Inc. (based on a recent quote obtained from a Dumor distributor)
- Additional existing lettering types may be ordered from Dumor for $125
- Additional color bands may be order from Dumor for $95.
- Additional lids: prices range between $162 for 15” dome cutout and $210 for the raised flat lid.

Our Buyers Fees
With Municibid, pricing is clear, up-front and transparent. - Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
