Item Description
CASH UPON PICKUP
Here is a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 regular cab long bed truck with 70,885 miles and it comes with a 7' 6" western plow. 5.9 V-8 engine with an automatic transmission that shifts through all the gears. This truck has had atleast one new transmission put in probably 10 years ago. It does run and drive but currenlty will not idle, you can keep it running by holding the throttle down. The non idle has not been diagnosed by a shop or mechanic.There is also a brake light on, on the instrument guages, but all the brakes seem to be working. The body is in decent shape with regular rust for the year and the interior is in decent shape, except the dash has broken out (see pictures). The broken dash does not hinder the driving or operation of the truck. Tires are fair but the back passenger side tire does lose air over time. There is a spray in bed liner and the tail gate opens but has a broken mount on the passenger side. The original use of this truck was for our public works department and they used it to plow cul de sacs and then went to the parks and lakes department. The City of Mattoon does NOT offer any warranty and this is an as is all sales final auction. Cash due upon arrival of picking up item. With appointment the item can be seen before auction end. What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
