Item Description
Up for bid is a 2005 Freightliner M2 Chassis. Truck was originally an ambulance but had the box removed, refurbished and remounted on a new chassis. Unit is in good condition as shown by the pictures. Light rust on the frame and no rust on the cab. Engine is a Cat C7, 7.2L set at 300 HP and believe the torque is 925 lbs.-ft. Engine runs good and also has an exhaust brake. Engine is pre DPF or DEF and is not equipped. Transmission is an Allison 3000 EVS. ABS light is on, but brakes work fine. Parking brake has an air cylinder that actuates a drum parking brake. Service brakes are hydraulic. Truck has gear driven air compressor that it uses for parking brake and air ride suspension. Cab to axle length is approximately 109 inches. Wheelbase is approximately 175 inches. Differential is a limited slip 4.33 ratio and was replaced about 10 years ago at 60,000 miles. Horton air fan clutch was rebuilt 2 years ago. Truck is sold as is, where is.
Back of cab is open from previous box being mounted on chassis. There is just a piece of white cardboard taped over the opening.

- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
