"Have any parts been replaced (water pump, timing chain, etc)? If so, how long ago and/or at what mileage?" - Asked by #71531803 05/24/2025 11:05 PM |
A: |
The fuel pump was replaced on 10/20/2016, both sway bars replaced 10/16/2018, and the alternator was replaced 4/12/2021. We have had the vehicle since 2015, however, it was originally owned by one of our municipalities prior to regionalization. All maintenance has been performed and can be provided upon request at purchase.

Q: |
"Apologies for the new-guy question...but, what is the process for the winning bidder to pick up the car?
Is it just a matter of making sure to insure the car beforehand (and paying for it via Municibid), and then picking the car up?
Upon arrival in Nazareth, would the person have to travel to an autotag location with someone from the department to make sure some form of temporary tag is obtained, and then just drive the car home?
Thank you." - Asked by #73478993 05/29/2025 06:32 PM |
A: |
Great questions...Upon day of purchase, proof of insurance must be presented. An exchange of currency will be had. Cash, Money Order or Cashier's Check. A receipt will be given. The purchaser and the Chief of Police will travel to a local notary service to transfer the title, at the new owner's expense. Once all bureaucratic paperwork has been completed by the notary, off you go in your "new" cruiser. The inspection is good to go as well.

"That was extremely helpful, thank you.
By the way, if the winning bidder made arrangements to pick this vehicle up at the beginning of the following week (say the 10th or 11th), would this be too late? I read that we would have around a week to pick up the car." - Asked by #73478973 05/30/2025 11:16 AM |
A: |
As long as arrangements have been made prior, we can be very flexible on the pick up date.
