2008 Chevrolet Impala

The Borough of Freedom desires to sell the following:  1-2008 Chevrolet Impala, black in color.  The vehicle currently has 106,696 miles.  A crate motor was installed at 98,585 miles.  The transmission was rebuilt at 86,837 miles.  Both installations were by certified garages.  The vehicle was taken out of service in November 2017 when state inspection ended.  The vehicle is equipped with AM/FM CD player, A/C., Power windows, locks and mirrors. Tires are 8/10.

 There is minor paint damage to the left/rear bumper.  The vehicle may be viewed at the Freedom Borough Building, 901 3rd Avenue, Freedom, PA 15042 by contacting the borough secretary at (724) 728-5744.  The Borough of Freedom implies no warranty, express or otherwise on this vehicle and is sold “As Is”.  Bids will be accepted for the sale of this vehicle until Monday, March 12, 2018 at 3:00 PM.  The borough will also consider sealed bids accepted locally.   A bid bond is not required and the Borough of Freedom reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.  Bids will be considered at the Regular Council Meeting on Mar 14, 2018 at 6:00PM.  The highest bidder will be contacted the next business day if accepted.
