1998 Chevy K2500 Silverado 4x4 pickup truck with Vortec 7400 L29 7.4 L (454 cu in) V8 and automatic transmission

Purchased new by municipality and regularly maintained.  Stored indoors. Reported that transmission will occasionally slip when in reverse and under heavy load.  Power mirrors and windows work, runs and stops well.  The following defects were observed.  Other defects may be present.

Observed defects:

• Transmission has been reported to occasionally slip in reverse.  Unable to duplicate in test drive, seems to work.
• Air conditioning does not work
• Left power door lock not working
• Power seat not working
• Cargo bed and under hood lights not working
• Radio only plays AM
• Tool box arms do not hold lid in open position
• Interior stained and torn, damage to drivers seat foam
• Exterior has dents, scrapes and scratches
