Special Notes:  This Mini Beadbeater-96 cell disrupter has only been used a few times and is in like new condition.  It is designed for high-throughput screening with disruption of up to 192 samples at one time in microtubes or microplates.  The horizontal sample orientation produces faster cell lysis with 90% cell disruption in 2-3 minutes using a compressed “figure eight” shaking pattern with 36 oscillations/second or 2100 rpm. The homogenizer can process many different sample types including spores, microorganisms, plant and animal tissues, or soil samples.  Included with the beadbeater are 1 microplate holder, 1 reversible multi-size polypropylene microvial rack, and 150 - unopened 2ml deep 96-well assay blocks.  The microplate holder can hold two 1ml or one 2ml deep 96-well microplates , while the polypropylene microvial rack can alternately hold up to 36 - 0.6ml microtubes or up to 45 - 1.5ml or 2ml microtubes for processing in a single run.
