Up for bid is our 2008 International 7400 Dumptruck WITH Swensen 10' Salt Spreader and a Viking 11' Plow.
Dumptruck: 2.5 ton with 19,161 actual miles. At time of listing, truck was full operational with the exception of the "bed shaker" and air horn. The air gate release sticks occasionally but generally works. Engine is a Maxforce DT and runs great with no issues. The trannsmission is an Allison. Crankshaft driven hydraulic pump that feeds all the hydraulics. Interior is in very good condition with no known issues. Vehicle has air brakes. Front tires are descent with about 75% tread while the rears are about 25% with dry-rot splits on inside. Size asr 11R- 22.5 Front axle is a 12,000lb I-beam type. Rear axle is a 21,000lb single. All lights work. 3 battery setup and all appear to be servicable. NOTE: Dump bed, wheels, brake drums and associated parts, have severe corrosion from salt and liquid calcium use. Frame has some corrosion but is still very servicable.
Spreader: 2008 Swensen 10' hopper. Stainless Steel. vertical shaft-mount spinner. All controls are electric-over-hydraulic by Component Technology using the FREEDOM 2 digital operating system. Also has pre-wet capabilities with to saddlebag type holding tanks.
Plow: Viking 11' plow. fully functional. Will need new rubber blade or put back to a carbide blade. Corrosion on top of plow from water sitting for long periods of time.
This unit was used in 2018 winter season with no issues, HOWEVER, highly recommend a safety inspection prior to putting into service.
