HP Designjet 4500ps Printer / Plotter and Wide Format Scanner, For Parts/Repair

Up for sale, for parts / repair, are a HP Designjet 4500ps plotter / wide format printer and HP 4500 wide format scanner. These were both purchased new in 2008. Both of these worked well, but had parts removed for security and trade in.

Designjet 4500ps: The main PCA formatter board, processor, heat sink, and fan was removed and sent into a HP trade in program, and the hard drive was removed and destroyed for security purposes.

We had some issues moving the plotter, so the two of the front window hinges are broken, and the top of it bows down slightly (may be from broken hinges). May possibly have other damage, but not that we could see from outside. The print catcher cart is in good shape, but has a couple bent casters.

 Prior to removing these parts, it had a problem feeding in the second roll, but still functioned fine.

4500 Wide Format Scanner: The hard drive was removed and destroyed for security purposes.

Prior to that, it worked well.

Terms of Sale: The seller, North Penn Water Authority, reserves the right to cancel any bids, end the auction early, or cancel the auction without notice for any reason. All sales are final, all items are sold as is, where is. It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify the condition of the item before bidding. Returns or exchanges are not accepted. Full payment must be made before item is removed.

Inspection / Auction Preview: Items can be previewed by appointment. To set up an appointment to preview the items, contact Daniel Yaw at dyaw@npwa.org or (215) 855-3617 x145 .  

Payment: Payment is accepted at the North Penn Water Authority main office at the time of item pick-up / removal. For items that sell for under $1,000, we will accept for payment cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or money order. For items that sell for over $1,000, we can only accept certified check, cashier’s check, or money order. We cannot accept credit card payments.

Item Removal / Pick-up: The winning bidder will remove items by appointment by Monday, May 4, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. Items must be paid for before or at the time of pick-up. Buyer is responsible for moving and loading items onto vehicle. After winning item, you will receive an email with information on who to contact to pick up your item.

Shipping Policy: We cannot and will not ship items. The winning bidder may arrange for shipping and item removal on their own. The winning bidder must notify North Penn Water Authority if a shipper is to remove the item.
