Up for bid is a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria, (Black with gold center stripe). retired police vehicle.
The vehicle has about 135,000 miles (give or take) and needs a new transmission.
The inspection expires 8/2015 but will need towed from the lot.
The vehicle has some front push bumper damage and the exterior paint has blemishes and scratches/marks from when the police vehicle was in service. The rear seating is all one-piece plastic and the front seats are fabric.
The emergency lighting on the mirrors and front grill lights have been disconnected and do not work.
The vehicle is available for inspection at any time, as the vehicle is parked in the police station parking lot and is not gated.
There are no warranties at all, either implied or expressed, on the vehicle. The item must be picked up within fourteen (14) days or the bidder forfeits the item and there will be no refund.
The Township Board of Supervisors reserve the right ot reject any and all bids submitted, however upon approval, payment shall be due within 2 days of acceptance.
The voting will occur on 9/17/15 at the regular schedule BOS meeting.
