Approx. 150 used refuse carts

West Bradford Township is selling approximately 150 used refuse/recycling carts.

These carts have been removed from service and are being replaced with our own branded carts.  These carts are in various states, from serviceable, to broken wheels, broken lids, cracked sides, etc.  Some of these carts are repairable.  Some are only good for parts.  Winning bidder will be responsible for removing all of the carts.  90% of these carts were on the street and serviceable before we replaced them with our branded carts.

This is a no reserve auction.  The high bidder will be awarded the bid on November 10th, 2015.

West Bradford Township, as Seller, disclaims any warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability of fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Carts being sold on an “As Is” basis 

Bidders must be 18 years old and legally able to form binding contracts as buyers. Placing a bid creates a legally binding contract between Buyer and Seller. Payment in full is due not later than seven (7) calendar days from the time and date of the Notice of Award or the Township reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder shall make payment to West Bradford Township in the form of cash, cashier’s check, certified check, or money order, made payable to West Bradford Township,1385 Campus Drive, Downingtown PA 19335.  Successful bidder shall remove the item(s) within seven (7) calendar days following receipt of payment. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof.

Buyer has sole responsibility of picking up carts.  Delivery is not available.  Township not responsible for carts once they have left township property.

Carts can be picked up at the township garage located at 1385   Campus Drive, Downingtown PA 19335.

Bid will be awarded at the regularly scheduled Supervisors meeting scheduled for November 10th, 2015.
