Placing a bid creates a legally binding contract between Buyer and Seller. Payment in full is due not later than ten (10) calendar days from the time and date of the Notice of Award or the Township reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder shall make payment to Allen Township in the form of a cashier’s check or certified check made payable to Allen Township, 4714 Indian Trail Road, Northampton, PA 18067.  The successful bidder shall remove the item(s) within ten (10) calendar days following receipt of payment. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. The Township reserves the right to reject any bids received an award to the vendor of its choice. The buyer has sole responsibility for picking up the equipment.  Delivery is not available. Township is not responsible for the equipment once it has left township property.
