Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale 'AS IS, WHERE IS.' City of South Amboy, NJ makes no warranty, guaranty, or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
The successful bidder may be required to execute a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement. The City of South Amboy reserves the right to accept or reject any bids submitted.
Q: What does " Can can run" mean? Does the car run. Or does it not? Just for clarification
A: Can run means that it will not run without something (weather it be a jump start, new battery, new fuel line, etc.) Engine is not seized. I am just relaying the vague information that I was given. Most of these vehicles ran when they were parked but I am fairly certain that batteries have since died. Best thing I can recommend is to inspect the vehicle so you can see exactly what your are bidding on.
