Three 60 foot lengths totaling 180' Stainless Steel 3/8 lifting chain for hoists or for whatever you can do with it! This Chain was bought for a job that ended up with a change order. New never used. MGK Ind. provided the chain. Purchased from Nelson Wire rope Hatfield PA
Q: Is your minimum bid based on how much the town overpaid for the chain?
A: Yes! I tried getting estimates and the chain rep from Nelson never gave it to me. I will put back on starting at $10 a foot.
Q: What grade chain? Marine grade 40 is only $16 a foot new, this is $27.5 a foot plus fees and tax? Used, not new from manufacturer/supplier
A: Not used. brand new. Thank you for the estimate. I will try $10 a foot
Q: Have to agree $5000 to start a bid on a chain? Is this correctly listed?
A: I apologize. I have tried to get a fair price for but have not found anyone to give me an estimate.
Q: Don’t you think $5k is a bit too much to ask for?
A: I apologize, I do not know its worth. do you have any idea?
