318 carburetor motor, new automatic transmission installed in 2021, new tires installed 2022, new fuel pump installed in 2022, new wiper motor, 4 WD all time there is a low and high, no working sirens, just lights. Minor rust on a post fenders, wear and tear in bench seat. This truck is being sold as is, with no warranties. Buyer will be responsible for any transfer fees.
Q: Is there a spare tire and a jack . Do you still have the 4 speed transmission or is it available.
A: There is no spare tire or jack. It is a 3-speed automatic.
Q: Is there an owners manual. Are maintenance records available possibly ?
A: Yes, to both questions
Q: Can you use it to squirt just water , to water my crops or hose adult grandchildren
A: There is no water tank storage on this vehicle, hose, or a fire pump. I'm sure you can modify the vehicle to, but currently it does not.
Q: Is there foam in tank? Is the foam a hazardous waste , and would I need permits to dispose of that foam ?
A: There is no water or foam in/on this vehicle. You will see a "deck gun" (Portable Monitor) on the top of the vehicle (included). That is not pre-piped to the vehicle, it is held on by a bracket for it to be moved. There is no foam on this vehicle anymore. All foam has been removed.
Q: Will I be able to take this vehicle to a mechanic of my choosing, in Lancaster county Pa.to have the emergency lights removed.
A: Yes, you can have the lights removed. For the lighting, it is generally one large wiring harness for the light bar and siren controller and then the rear and smaller lights are usually one- two smaller gauge wires. As for the mechanic of your choosing, that would be up to them if they would wish to remove the equipment that you choose.
Q: why don't the sirens work ?
A: Originally, the main light and siren controller is in the dash. The siren portion of the controller went bad, but the lighting controls still work. We added the siren that was mounted on the upper part of the dash when the truck was in service. That has been removed. The speaker for the siren is in the lightbar itself and that still currently works.
