1975 Chevy C-30 dump truck w/plow; under 16,000 miles!

1975 Chevrolet C-30 2wd dump truck & plow with 15,4xx miles. This truck was bought new by the Borough. Doors and door seals were replaced some time ago, no one is sure of the exact date, but the door seals are like new. The vehicle has the original 350 cu. in. V-8 and manual 4-speed transmission with creeper 1 gear. There are no known drivetrain issues. The dump works, however the bed is showing its age. The truck is inspected and roadworthy although the front suspension is a bit soft when the plow is on. The truck is available for inspection at the Borough Office, 250 W. Beaver St., Hallam, PA 17406 during the Borough’s normal office hours and will be sold “AS IS”. More complete descriptions are available on the Municibid website listing. The Borough has made every attempt to describe the vehicles and their conditions as accurately as possible and will not be held responsible for typographical errors or errors in the description of the vehicle and therefore the Borough encourages and recommends inspection prior to bidding. Hallam Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any Bid, and to make award in any manner consistent with law, deemed in the best interest of the Borough. The winning bid will be accepted by Hallam Borough Council at the Borough Office on January 28, 2016 at 7:45 pm. The successful bidder need not be present.
