• Q: Several questions: How powered - solar? Is solar included? How does the unit detect speed, internal radar? Does the unit currently work and how accurate is the detection? Weight of the unit and how mounted? Thanks!

A: It runs on 2 lithium batteries. It can run on solar but that is also not included. It has a built in K-band (24.15 GHz) radar and the accuracy is +1 -1 mph. The unit weighs 12lbs without the batteries and has a universal mounting system that can attach to a pole, trailer or vehicle hitch mount. The batteries are not installed and the cover for the batteries is missing.
