Based on questions and comments presented we would like to make sure it is clear and understood: this aircraft does not fly and is not airworthy. Thank you
Q: Is this a fabric covered airplane.?
A: Yes photos with examples of fabric condition are in the listing
Q: Is this a/c free and clear of all leins and encumbrances? Does it have a clean title?
A: no known liens or information has come up during these checks.
Q: when was it last flown?
A: unknown
Q: Is there not an available aviation technician to look over the aircraft on site?
A: Yes, keep in mind these technicians are not employed by RRAA and we will not take responsibility for the inspection itself. Public aircraft maintenance or pre-purchase inspections may be available from Steve's Landavator Services. call at 484-256-8066 or email landavator@gmail.com.
Q: How much would it cost to get this baby in the air?
A: We would not be able to provide an answer to this question and would refer you to contact an aviation maintenance technician.
Q: How many hours on the airframe? Since major overhaul on the engine? What happened to the old owner? Thanks!!!
A: No logbooks are available. The tachometer engine hours are indicated at 2,447.67. From what we can gather, the last registered owner lost the aircraft in a lawsuit. The other company was overseas and has never claimed the property.
