2004 Johnston MX450 street sweeper. Great condition! Clean, new brushes, hydraulics, with minimal hours used. Purchased sweeper used but never had anyone to operate. Has been stored in climate controlled garage.
Q: I have given all of the info you have posted and our conversations to my boss, the clerk, Beth Ann Mackey. She may try to get ahold of you with additional questions…
A: That is fine. Thank you for the follow up - Donna Just checking to see if you have any interest in this piece of equipment. If not, I am going to contact another buyer. Thank you
Q: I will talk to the mayor and council and see if they will approve the purchase and shipping of the sweeper. I’m guessing shipping will be approximately $2,000.00 which puts it over my spending limit. Another question. Is the conveyor belt driven by a hydraulic turn motor or is it chain drive? I’m trying to get away from the chains and have a sweeper that is all hydraulic. Way less maintenance…
A: I'm sorry but I don't know the answer to your technical questions. I work part-time as the clerk and I'm the only employee. We do not have a maintenance employee. Let me know what you would like to do. I can update our board tonight that we have a potential offer. We can hold a special meeting if needed at a later date too.
Q: I got busy Friday and forgot to get a bid in. I see it did not sell. What are your plans? Realist it? Sell it? Please advise… Thank you
A: The board is meeting tonight. What would you like to offer? I can present to the board for approval. The street cleaner is in great condition with limited hours. The brushes are new, the batteries were just purchased. It has been stored in a climate controlled garage. The only reason we are selling it is because we did not have anyone to operate it. We listed it at $5000 as our rock bottom and had hoped it would go up from there. Thank you for your interest.
Q: Can you please post a photo of the VIN tag?
A: I will get that for you tonight and submit tomorrow morning. Thank you VIN picture is posted - 1J9VM3H694C172053
Q: How many hours? How many miles?
A: I will get that for you tonight and post tomorrow morning. Thanks The street cleaner has 3521.22 hours - posted picture of reading
