Q: how rusted is the frame of truck under the water tank. i bought a fire truck a few years ago and i was shocked on how poor the frame was from the tank condensation and the rest of the truck was like new
A: I will need to check and get back to you. Most of the time with a poly tank, the rust is minimal. But I will check.
Q: Is the body steel or alum? Is the tank poly, Steel or Alum?
A: The tank is poly. The body is stainless steel.
Q: What is the GVW? What is the cab to axle measurements? How many engine hours?
A: GVW is 37,000 lbs, engine hours are 1175 hours. I will need to get back to you on the cab to axle measurement. Please give me a few hours to get this information. Cab to axle is 141” Wheelbase is 210” I hope this helps.
Q: How’s your department considered donating this vehicle inspected or not to the relief effort for the flood victims in North Carolina and Florida members of my fire department and others in the Pittsburgh area have got together and are taking donations and delivering them to the necessary people in those areas, equipment and vehicles, even if they’re expired, FEMA has granted an exception to the rule
A: We have considered this however, with our budget being very very small, we must sell the truck for budget purposes. Thanks for asking.
