This 2013 International (diesel) was replaced this summer and served as a primary 9-1-1 response ambulance since it's purchase. PA inspection was current through August 2024.
Known Issues:
-There is an intermittent turbo issue where the engine becomes sluggish and highway speeds become difficult to maintain uphill.
-The driver's side front of the box sustained damage from contact with a low overhang. It has been resealed, but may need additional maintenance or repair in the future to prevent leaks.
Company decals will be removed prior to sale. This ambulance is currently equipped with red lights and siren, which will need to be removed if sale is not to a licensed fire or EMS service.

A: 1.What is the build date (month & year) of the box/module? April 2013 2.Could you include some photos of the damage that is mentioned in the ad. And maybe the rest of the photos as well. Most of the posted photos in your ad are very blurry. I added a photo of the top left corner showing the box damage. I’m not sure why some of the pictures compressed so much on upload, but I’m happy to send high res images directly or arrange a video walkthrough if you’re not local. – e-mail chief@foxwall.org. 3.Any damage or rust/corrosion/paint bubbling on the box? No rust that I can see – there is some paint bubbling/peeling at the very bottom of the back doors. I added a photo showing this. 4.Will the truck start and run well enough to drive it on to a transport trailer? Yes. It’s been run weekly since it was replaced. I drove it for several hours on an errand a few weeks ago and it performed fine. The turbo issue described in the listing is intermittent. Box measurement Questions in Inches: all of my measurements are end to end and don’t include things like light fixtures that stick out from finished surfaces. 1.Box interior (floor to ceiling) height? 72” 2.The gap between the cab & front of box? 4” – there is a full-height pass through door from cab to box. 3.Front face of the box to the center of rear axle? 105” 4.Box exterior length (do not include rear bumper)? 167” 5.Box exterior width? 96”
