Q: Then why does the VIN come back to a 1976 Chevy Bel Air..........If I'm not mistaken that's a car not a truck
A: This is the VIN on the title. Due to the age of the car, you cannot use the decoder as the truck is too old.
Q: Truck is too old for the common decoder link. Needs at least 17 digits to work. 1981 and after.
A: Thank you for clarifying that for the people asking, the VIN provided is the correct VIN for the truck as it is on the truck tag as well as the title.
Q: Can we get a pic of the VIN number from the windshield the VIN number you put is not valid
A: I will post later today or in the morning . This is the correct VIN Number. It matched the VIN number located on the original Title.
Q: Gas or diesel motor, what trans is in it? X military vehicle ?
A: Gas motor, automatic transmission. It was used at a school for snow plowing and grounds maintenance.
Q: Why can't it be driven off the lot?
A: It doe snot have a current inspection or registration.
