2005 GMC C8500 single axle dump truck with a c-7 cat engine and automatic transmission. truck has 37487.0 miles on it. Truck also has an 11' root power angle plow with a rubber cutting edge and a stainless steel swenson salt spreader. The truck runs and drives and plow and spreader work. The dump body did have the floor replaced at one time. the ac does not work and the heater blower motor recently stopped working. the truck is also out of inspection. you will need a class b cdl to drive this truck. This truck dose have rust so please look closely at pictures.
Q: Do brakes and trans work like they should ..would you think truck would ne okay to drive 3 hours back from your place to mine or recommend putting it on trailer
A: The truck was parked since March everything did work as it should when it was parked. Driving it with a plow on the front of it for 3 hours at Highway speeds might be pushing it. Trailering it might be the safest.
Q: Is this truck reliable enought to.leave in parking lot for snow ..does plow and sander work ..any major issues with her
A: Yes it is reliable enough for snow the only thing that it will need is an AC line off the condenser. This might make the Defroster not work properly right now.
