Q: The new crate motor was it a jasper ?
A: No
Q: If this vehicle has been listed previously. Could you pull the OBD code and let us the buyers know if the engine is trash?
Awaiting the seller's answer.
Q: Wasn’t this listed earlier this year? If so why did buyer back out?
A: Yes it was listed earlier. The party backed out because they did a Carfax on it and there were no service records so they didn't believe the engine was replaced. But all of our service was done at a local garage and not a dealer so the records were not available. Then when our police force disbanded in 2020, all of the service records were tossed so we do not have the service records.
Q: Was the replacement engine new or remanufactured, was it installed by the dealer?
A: It was a brand new crated engine but it was not installed by a dealer. The local mechanic that serviced all of our vehicles replaced the engine.
