Q: Just for info, Amazon shows this as a Ford bw1z9002a Crown Victoria 19 gallon fuel tank. No response needed.
A: ok
Q: What model is fuel tank for
A: Compatible Models: The BW1Z-9002-A fuel tank is compatible with: Ford Crown Victoria (models from 2003 to 2011, corresponding to the second generation of the vehicle). Mercury Grand Marquis (models from 2003 to 2011, as it shares the same Panther platform as the Crown Victoria). Lincoln Town Car (certain models from 2003 to 2011, though additional verification may be needed due to potential variations in tank design). Important Considerations: Panther Platform: This fuel tank is specific to vehicles built on Ford’s Panther platform, which includes the Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis, and Lincoln Town Car. However, exact specifications (such as tank size or connections) may vary slightly between models or years, so it’s critical to verify the part number with your vehicle’s manual or a dealer. Model Years: Compatibility generally covers the years 2003–2011, as these models share similar chassis and fuel system designs. Earlier models (e.g., 1992–2002) may use a different tank due to design changes. Tank Condition: Based on available information, this tank is described as new. However, ensure to inspect it (if possible, at the listed location: City Hall, 901 SW 62nd Ave, West Miami, FL 33144) to confirm there’s no damage and that it includes all necessary components (such as caps or sensors). Recommendations:Verify the Part Number: Confirm that the part number BW1Z-9002-A matches the one required for your vehicle. Check your owner’s manual, a Ford parts catalog, or contact a dealership. Specific Compatibility: If you own a Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis, or Town Car, verify the model year and fuel system specifications (e.g., whether it’s a police or civilian model, as police models may have variations).
