2004 Ford F550 4x4. 63,902 miles. 6.0 Diesel Automatic transmission. Stainless dump bed, plow and salt spreader. This truck was purchased new by the township. Truck was white from the factory and painted orange when it was new. The truck runs and drives as it should. The transmission was rebuilt or replaced at some point. The engine has not been apart. This truck is not inspected due to an issue with the power steering. steers hard to the left. It should not be driven for this reason. fenders have some rust and surface rust on the frame. Dump body and spreader work as they should. Plow functions but the lift cylinder leaks.
Q: when was the truck last inspected ? Was it drivable when last used ?
A: The inspection expired 10/24. It is still drivable but I do not recommend due to the steering issue. It has stiff spots when turning left
Q: is the front plumed for central hydraulics ? have the injectors been replaced ? Has there been any truble with the emissions ?
A: The bed and spreader run off central hydraulics. No hydraulics to the front. the plow is electric over hyd. As far as I know the injectors are original and there are no emission issues.
Q: does it have central hydraulics front & back ? Will you take picture of salt spreader ? is the salt spreader stainless steel ? brand ?
A: Central hydraulics on the back. Plow is electric over hyd. The spreader is made by Swenson and is stainless steel . I have added more pictures of the spreader
