2014 Ford Escape Platinum, AWD, 4-door, with 80,130 miles. Sold "AS IS". This vehicle is in good condition and has a few minor scraps and dings. Carpet wear on the driver side. This vehicle was purchased used from Woltz and Wind Ford, we have all of the service records from the time of purchase.
Q: Has the transmission had at least two flush and re-fills done by this mileage? Having had two of these CVT transmission AWD Escapes the service intervals need done at the 30-33k make to survive (don't wait the 60k per Ford). These years are also known for coolant intrusion. Is it using coolant?
A: When we purchased the vehicle it already had 55,586 miles. Car fax says that it had went through a proper required Ford Maintenance, vehicle was serviced at 55,589. At this time all fluid were checked, oil and filter changed, air filter replaced and wipers replaced. It has since gone through regular oil changes and has passed all inspections. No it is not using coolant.
