The Ingersol Rand air compressor has corrosion in the dryer section of the air compressor. The air compressor section is fully functional. The air passes through a dryer unit before being moved out of the unit. Because the unit was oversized for its application the dryer never ran long enough to remove moisture from the system. Thereby leaving condensation to collect within the dryer portion of the unit. The internals of the dryer unit corroded the piping.
Q: Did you ever get any estimates on how much to replace the dryer system or have it repaired?
