2010 Ford Escape being sold as parts only. Frame has rust and this vehicle should not pass inspection. Being sold "as is, where is".
Q: Is it just surface rust or has the frame been compromised by the rust? Would I be able to drive it home?

A: It ran fine , but had to be taken off road due to not passing inspection

A: Approx 6 months
Q: Is it possible to take some pictures of the rusted frame please?
A: Yes, I will try, but the mechanic noted most of the rust while the vehicle was on a lift, and it is not possible to get the vehicle to a lift
