Q: Looks like the hitch is adjustable ? if so how many height options & range of height options ? Does the trailer have brakes ? If so how are the brakes activated ? Have the brakes been serviced ? You registered the trailer at 9,999 lbs to stay under CDL requirements ? Thank you
A: The Hitch is adjustable. Range is Approx. 14" -25"off the ground with holes every 2.5". The trailer does have brakes, electrically activated by the tow vehicle. If they needed any service it was at the inspection station, but i don't believe they required any service. Yes, it was derated to stay under CDL requirements.
Q: You stated "14,000 GVW derated to 9998". Why is it derated?
A: It was derated to stay under CDL requirements. The trailer was purchased to move a 5000# roller, so there was no need to go any higher.
Q: Length? Inspected? Any repairs? Some information would be helpful
A: 6'3" X 12' Inspected: Until 03/2025 No Repairs or Damage. Works as it should.
