City of Newton bid #24-78. Surplus item sold to the highest bidder, sold "AS IS and "WHERE IS." Item offered for sale as listed, without warranty, guarantee or liability of any kind on part of the City of Newton. All City of Newton employees must comply with the provisions of G.L. 268A when bidding surplus equipment. They also must file a disclosure with the city clerk's office.
Q: is all equipment for operation there?
A: All equipment was operational when taken out of service. You will need a compatible switch panel controller for it to work and use all of its functions (flashing blue, solid blue, alley lights, scene lights, flood lights, rear traffic advisor). This lightbar was only in service for about 2 years, when I turned the vehicle it was on into an unmarked.
Q: Do They work?
A: All equipment was operational when taken out of service. Power and Ground wires vary in length. CAT5 cable will have to be replaced.
