City of DuBois Auction Terms
All item(s) are sold as-is, where-is and with all faults. Inspection is the responsibility of the Buyer.
The City of DuBois reserve the right to reject any and all bids and or end the auction early.
These items are offered with a reserve. If the reserve amount is met, the item will automatically be awarded, and an invoice will be sent to the winning Buyer. If the highest bid does not meet the reserve amount, the Seller has the right to review the bid and decide whether to accept or reject the bid.
Transportation and Shipping
Packaging, shipping and removal are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. Buyer is responsible for all costs related to transporting the item. There is no removal assistance available. Buyer is responsible for the removal of a vehicle or equipment including loading and shipping. Buyer should ensure that he or she provides the appropriate equipment and manpower to remove the vehicle.
Employees may not aid in the removal process. No exceptions will be considered.
All items not removed within Ten (10) business days of the auction ending will be deemed abandoned and may be disposed of or resold by the City of DuBois.
Payment
Payment in full to the City of DuBois is required with in Seven (7) business days of the auction closing and prior to removal.
Methods of payment include cash, certified check, or money order. Please provide contact information for your bank as funds will be verified.
Item maybe subject to Pennsylvania Sales Tax
For Vehicles
Buyer is responsible for any applicable DMV fees such as state sales tax, title and registration. Buyer must show proof of current insurance prior to vehicle being driven off City property.
Titles will be conveyed by the Seller at the time of pick up.
Q: Does the buyer receive the back seats? Is the cage being removed? Any warning lights on? Any undercarriage rusting?
A: Normal surface rust nothing notable. No back seats, cage and console sell with car. Car runs good, no known issues. For more details of the condition, see the vehicle in person to inspect.
