Q: Is the main truck frame, cracked, rust jacked, or rotted? Is the tail gate off because there is a problem with the hinges or gate rod?
A: The tail gate is off because for several years the truck was used to spread salt brine liquid on the roadway for snow and ice. There was an 800 gallon tank in the bed. The clips that hold the tailgate closed are rusted in place.
Q: Is the oil pan, air tanks, fuel tank or brake drums, badly pitted or rotted?
A: oil pan is good. air tanks, fuel tank has surface rust.
Q: Is the box just badly rusted or is it badly rotted?
A: The outside front of the box has rotted sections. The bed itself is badly rusted. i added some photos.

A: as far as i can tell from the paper work that i have, yes the motor is dt466.
Q: what is the gvw and is the truck air brakes
A: Yes the truck has air brakes. The GVWR is 35,000 lbs
