2016 40 hp Evinrude outboard motor manual start with a tiller, taken off our inflatable rescue boat. The boat was damaged when the gas bladder sprung a leak and filled the boat with gasoline. we replaced it with a new boat and motor.
Q: was the motor only used in fresh water
A: No salt water, flushed with fresh water after each use
