Q: When was the vehicle taken out of service ? Are service records available ? We’re dash lights lit before issue with battery ?
A: The vehicle was taken out of service when my detective retired in February 2025. The service records are available. We purchased the vehicle from Collingdale Borough 4 years ago to serve as a detective vehicle. I am not aware of the dash lights being on prior to putting vehicle out of service. I do not know if the battery needs a charge or if it is no longer any good because the vehicle started without a jump every day when the detective was driving it. It starts with a jump.
