Q: Are there any rust issues under the bed on the frame or other structural areas? How severe is the oil leak? Any issues that would prevent the truck from being driven back to ohio after pickup? Thank you
A: The truck has surface rust. Which is to be expected given its age and location. Both Rocker panels were replaced and Driver-side is starting to show signs of rust as pictured above. Its a minor oil leak, just a couple drips on the floor are noticed if it sits for several days. There should be no issue driving the truck that far as it was just Inspected in April and was used regularly around the township.
Q: does everything operate as it should ? any known issues with engine, transmission or brakes? thank you
A: Everything operates as it should. New transmission was installed January 2022. Truck has small oil leak.
