1997 E-One Hurricane

the Town of Danvers has an E-One 75 foot quint fire truck for sale.  This vehicle has been out of service since 2014 due to a wave condition on the rear double frame. This truck is a 1997 E-One Hurricane with 98,000 miles.  All components other than the frame are in good condition.  The engine is a 6V92 Cummins with 9,985 hours. The transmission is an Allison 3060 electronic / 50,000 lb GVW single rear axle/ pump 1250 GPM electronic throttle/400 gallon poly water tank/75 foot aluminum aerial ladder rear mount/new springs, brakes/transfer case and axles good.  Aerial not certifiable with frame condition.

the bid will be awarded to the highest responsive and responsible bidder. the successful bidder will prearrange a time with the Fire Department for the removal of the item.  the awarded item must be removed within 30 days of the award. the successful bidder will provide their own labor and equipment for removal. the awarding authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids. the Town of Danvers will require  a statement concerning the payment of taxes and a fraud and collussion form to be completed.
