TRANSPORTATION AND REMOVAL: The City of Craig is not responsible for the delivery of Artwork. The purchaser assumes all liability associated with the transportation of the artwork including but not limited to damage related to the move of the artwork, and any and all damages and/or injuries that may be sustained as a result of the transportation of the Artwork. The Purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold the City harmless against any and all claims that could be made as a result of ownership and transportation of the Artwork. The cost of delivery and installation of the Artwork shall be coordinated by the Purchaser and shall be at the Purchaser’s expense. Purchaser will provide all necessary shipping arrangements for Artwork. Complimentary loading of Artwork will be completed by the City of Craig at no expense and shall be completed, scheduling an appointment with city staff at 970-326-8891 or by email at jsanders@cityofcraig.org. Once the piece of Artwork is loaded by city personnel, the City of Craig assumes no further liability. The parties agree that failure to remove the Artwork by August 1, 2025, shall be considered abandonment of the property by Purchaser and shall result in the forfeiture of the Artwork to the City. Upon forfeiture the City may move, resell, retain, or otherwise dispose of the Artwork at its sole discretion and Artwork becomes property of the city free from any claim made by the purchaser either now or in the future. The City of Craig is not responsible for securing, repairing, or maintaining the Artwork. Purchaser accepts the Artwork "AS IS" and agrees to be responsible for all costs of repairs and ongoing maintenance. Purchaser is responsible for all preparations necessary for shipping. Purchaser may pick-up the Artwork themselves in lieu of shipping but must abide by all the terms and conditions stated herein.
