This used, orange 1986 AM General 929A1 military 5 ton dump truck with approximately 24,486 miles was acquired by the New Marlborough, Massachusetts Highway Department in April 2012 as military surplus equipment. This truck starts and runs, and while under our ownership, has had regularly scheduled maintenance, although a fuel leak is present. This truck has a Cummins diesel 6-cylinder engine with automatic transmission. It has rust, and normal wear and tear of the interior expected in a truck of this age. This truck has a transferrable title. Batteries are not included.
This auction will be closed at 11:15 am on Monday, September 8, 2025, and results of the auction will be voted on by the Board of Selectmen that evening.

A: Thanks for the question. We’re not exactly sure, but the leak seems to be near the injector pump.
