Q: Is the front axle the original axle under the truck? By the rim, it appears to be a 3/4 ton front axle
A: Not sure. It was an army surplus truck. The plate on the door says the GVW for the axles are: Front 3660 lbs, Rear 5140 lbs for a total of 8800 lbs.
Q: What is the maximum gross weight of this truck?
A: Plate on the door says 8,800 lbs
Q: Can it be drove do all the forward gears work?
A: Yes. Reverse is just sluggish.
Q: Is it a 65 or 62 diesel ⛽️
A: 6.2L
Q: Any issues with the motor and does the dump work as it should?
A: As far as we could tell there are no problems, just the transmission. The last time it was used was in April.
Q: any pics of the interior? and you are saying reverse barely works?
A: I can grab some pictures of the interior. That is correct about reverse. Empty is will backup somewhat on the flat or of course headed down hill.
