A: The Board of Selectmen have already voted to dispose of this surplus supply and will not need to take an additional vote. The auction listing has been updated.
Q: When would the purchase be awarded, aftrer the high bidder is determined or after the item is voted on? in other words, is the vehicle available for pick up on the 15th or the 27th?
A: We will work with the winning bidder to coordinate a pick up during regular business hours. The van could be picked up as soon as Monday, September 15th.
Q: Can you add more pictures showing interior condition and seating capacity. do you have maintenance records? Such a low mileage vehicle, what is the engine issues? Thank you
A: The listing has been updated to include photos of the interior. The engine issue is unknown. The van was driveable before it was decommissioned in January. The battery is currently drained, so unable to verify whether it will start. We have some maintenance records. Recent repairs include master cylinder and front brake pad replacements in March 2024 and November 2023; A/C charge and camera repair in June 2023; backup camera repair, disc rotor, rear parking brake show & lining replacements, and bumper repair in January 2023. Front tires were replaced January 2023 and right rear tire was replaced in October 2022

A: There is no information available on why the vehicle failed inspection in January 2025. It did pass inspection in January 2024.
