Pre-Owned Fire Department Squad Vehicle Converted to Water Department Truck
This vehicle has a unique history - originally used as a Fire Department Squad Vehicle before being converted in 2003 for use as a Water Department Truck. With very low mileage of 31,000 miles, it has mainly stayed within the Township and is in excellent condition considering its age. Equipped with a standard transmission (4 on the floor) and gasoline engine, this versatile vehicle is ready to serve a new purpose.
Q: would you be willing to lower the opening bid ?
A: I lowered it to $3,250.00 but that's low as we can go. We already had a bid of $3,700.00 in the last round.
Q: What kind of body rust does the vehicle have. It appears from the phot that the passenger side front fender has paint bubbling and peeling due to rust.
A: I just uploaded 2 more photos. It appears to be just surface rust (does not go through) and there's one other small spot just above it. The rest of the body looks very good. It's 55 years old but was kept mostly in a garage.
Q: Greetings Is this a relisted truck or another one? Thank you
A: Hi - it's relisted. We didn't meet the reserve last time. This time I have lowered the reserve.
Q: Can I please see pictures of the undercarriage and a better view of the dash console.
A: Pictures added 9-9-25
Q: Was there any major work done to it? (engine/clutch/etc.)
A: Not in our memory - just routine maintenance
Q: Will you show pictures of the engine?
A: Yes, pics attached
Q: Is first gear a creeper gear?
A: Yes, it's a four on the floor with a granny gear
Q: What engine is in it?
A: It's a 330, 190HP
