Q: So, does the truck need U-joints on the front driveshaft? Is it making noise or is the driveshaft out of the truck? Is the truck drivable the way it is? Is the gas tank strap broken? Rusted? Is the truck drivable the way it is with the gas tank strap needing replaced???
A: there is an audible clunking noise when the truck is in 4 wheel drive. runs normally in rear wheel. inspection mechanic said it was front ujoints drivers side driver seal side and passenger side. gas tank strap is still attached, gas tank is not hanging down. Truck is functional. Until recently, was everyday driver in our fleet. bid winner will be responsible for picking up truck in any manner they see fit. It is an older truck with high miles. Please feel free to visually inspect the vehicle in person to alleviate any concerns before bidding.
